4A and 4B coily hair needs deep moisture and sealing. Use a rich conditioner, a leave-in and a butter or oil to seal. Deep condition every wash day as coily hair loses moisture quickly.
Coily hair (4A to 4B) has a tighter S or Z-shaped spiral with a visible curl pattern. Afro hair (4C) has the tightest zigzag pattern with very little visible definition without product.
Every wash day, typically once a week or every two weeks. Apply for 15 to 30 minutes under a heat cap.
