Frequently asked questions
Curly hair needs a sulphate-free shampoo, a rich conditioner, a leave-in for daily moisture and a curl cream or gel to define the spiral pattern. Deep conditioning weekly makes the biggest difference.
Apply products to soaking wet hair, scrunch gently with a microfibre towel, then air dry or diffuse. Sealing with a curl cream after your leave-in locks moisture in and prevents frizz.
3A curls are loose large spirals. 3B are springy ringlets. 3C are tight corkscrews with more shrinkage. All need moisture-rich products but 3C benefits from slightly heavier creams.
